World AIDS Day event at Legends café
The 2005 World AIDS Day fund raising event, held at Legends café, was called 'Stops along the way'. It involved songs and entertainment from our volunteers, with a quiz being held during the entertainment breaks. Over 60 people attended and great fun was had by all.
Volunteering at Body Positive Dorset
Body Positive Dorset is grateful for the support of our volunteers (HIV status not important) and has a wide range of tasks to suit most interests and abilities.

Guide for Volunteers
Our working policy is to offer a safe environment to anyone living with, or affected by HIV/AIDS.
- We do not discriminate against anyone on the grounds of gender, race, class, sexual orientation, age or religious beliefs.
- We operate strict confidential guidelines for all persons using the Support Centre.
- We offer an environment that is free from abuse of any form, either physical or verbal.
- In order to maintain a supportive and safe Support Centre, neither illegal substances nor alcohol are to be brought into the Support Centre.
- We reserve the right to refuse admission.
