Mary's Relaxation Workshop

Come & learn relaxation techniques in a friendly atmosphere with essential oils, candlelight & soothing music.
At the beginning of each session a method of relaxation is taught. For example, Breathing Exercises; Mindfulness; Pressure Points for Depression & Anxiety; Grounding etc...
This is then followed by a wonderful guided imagery tour to take you into final relaxation...
Come along, chill out & enjoy as you learn to relax with these techniques that you can do at home...

Come and join us for a Sunday lunch in our beautiful garden. Your top chefs will be Julie, Andy & Jonny.
The lunch will be a variety of cold meats from honey glazed ham to succulent chicken; variety of salads and Andy's special quiches to name a few! There will also be a vegetarian selection.
Knickerbocker-Glories for desert! And if we feel like it a stroll on the beach to burn off the calories!

Teddy Bear Stall

Please come and help us raise funds by selling raffle tickets to members of the public from a wooden stall in Bournemouth gardens between 30th July and 1st August inclusive. To volunteer for a minimum shift of 1hr or more, please contact reception.

Bourne Free Stall

Please come and help us raise awareness of the charity at the Bourne Free Festival in Bournemouth on 10th July. Your role will simply be to man our stall and to give out leaflets, cards and sweets to members of the public. Not at all strenuous and hopefully it will be sunny!!

Voice Workshop with Ali Sharpe

Following success of the first workshop, Ali has kindly agreed to come & polish our vocal chords again!
So come & explore the rudiments of singing in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Ali is a friend of the charity and regularly offers her musical prowess at events such as World Aids Day in between heading up several choirs including Bournemouth Community Gospel Choir featured at World Music Evening on 9th April this year.
All levels welcome - no experience necessary! So come along and discover a love for singing...
Caribbean BBQ

With the sun out and the winter blues long gone - it's time to break out the BBQ and welcome the dog days of summer. So why not come and join us at our first major BBQ of the season...this time we are going Caribbean!!! Hula hula!
The Caribbean BBQ is set to be a great evening of fun and food. Invitations will be sent to friends of the charity including staff at the Pannel Suite
With the renovations at the centre completed and the garden extensively 'zhoozhed', let's celebrate having such a great facility and get out in the balmy evening air to enjoy some great food and great company.
Sticking with the theme, there is voluntary dressing up competition - the winner to be judged by Mr Richard 'Haile Selassie' Erven! There will be Caribbean games including the Limbo and traditional Caribbean fare on the Barbie like Jerk Chicken as well as classic English favourites for those who prefer their food a little less spicy!! For those of us who fancy our luck, there will be games of hoopla with prizes.
To join us, simply put your name down at reception.
Volunteers will be needed to help set up, cook, clean the BBQ & host so please offer your time where you can - your help is vital for the success of the evening & always much appreciated!!
